It's a unique experience, sleeping on a vintage World War II submarine or Destroyer Escort. In fact, it's something only sailors and submariners can speak about. If you've got a group of 20 or more, we've got a place for you to sleep overnight - a place filled with the magic and mystery of history. 

An Introduction to Our Shared History

Day Camp programs are developed to introduce children to the history and memory of the USS Cavalla and the USS Stewart and the men that served aboard them. Programs include social studies and science education activities.

  • Spring Break Camps- Classes for Spring Break Fest 2014 were for children 8-12 and were held March 10-14, 2014
  • Activities from the Spring Break Camp included: guided Tours of the USS Cavalla and the USS Stewart, learning how a submarine works, building a compass, WWII physical fitness activities, learning about sonar and radar, building and racing boats, learning about and creating a periscope, and many more.
