How Do I Volunteer

In 2016, the American Undersea Warfare Center received nearly 6,000 volunteer hours from many of you who enjoy preserving history, or just fulfilling a community service project or program. A lot of our hours come from the local cadets of the nearby Texas A&M ROTC and Maritime Academy. But we gladly host volunteers from around the U.S. who enjoy being by the water and spend some time in the sunshine; who want to help tell an accurate story of WWII sea operations; who just want to make a couple of old sailors (USS Stewart and USS Cavalla) look like its 1944 again!
If you are interested, please drop us a line below and we will work some dates/times with you. Or you can join us for our twice annual Work Restoration Week held in May and November. It’s a reunion of great volunteers who get together see old friends and meet new friends. Ask us about it below.
